We are looking to recruit Assistant Project Managers to join our Rail Systems & Signalling business, delivering projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be part of a successful delivery of a portfolio of projects, influence the growth and development of the project management team and progress in their career. Our AtkinsRéalis Rail Systems & Signalling Business provides whole life cycle solutions from scheme development to design, construction, commissioning and asset management, and delivering some of the UK's largest projects. Our Assistant Project Managers directly influence the lives of people across the UK by improving their passenger experience, making their journeys better and making our world the country a greener place to live. You will be responsible for supporting the bidding and delivery of our Rail Systems projects to time, cost and quality throughout their project lifecycle, from tender to closeout. Your Purpose:

  • Support the successful planning, execution and completion of projects using key project management principles, including risk management, budget control, schedule performance and quality whilst always maintaining a focus on safety.
  • Support the Project Manager in co-ordinating design, construction and commissioning resources, ensuring AtkinsRéalis quality of work is maintained and balanced against the Client's own requirements.
  • Support the main delivery schedule.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent Client relationships.
  • Support in work winning including preparation of bids and tenders.
  • Support the development of talent through technical training and mentoring.

    Degree level.
  • Alternatively, experience in a project management role or similar.
  • Valid Driver's License.
