We are delighted to be working with this family owned house builder with over 40 years’ experience delivering quality homes across Scotland. With a strong pipeline of future developments, this business is looking to add an enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to their construction team.

Working alongside a Site Manager you will be expected to carry out the following key duties day to day:

• Management of all day to day site activity.
• Responsible for driving the program and delivering quality products for customers.
• Providing first-class customer service through walkarounds/handovers.
• Responsible for all health and safety related activity on site.
• Quality inspections to ensure work meets expectation.
• Regular liaison with the Clerk of Works.
• Ensure delivery of homes is of the highest quality.
• Coordination of any snagging requirements.

To be successful in the role we are looking for the following:

• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• High levels of organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Good numerical, IT and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast moving Environment.
• Ability to work on initiative with minimum supervision.

We are looking for candidates who are goal focused, methodical thinkers, enjoys working with the public and delivering on customer care. Someone who has a real passion and flair for delivering quality homes and enjoys maintaining a tidy site compound!

A proven track record delivering new build construction projects is a must given the nature of this role and it would certainly be desirable if you had experience in the housing industry. Up to date CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are also required for this role.
