Stirling Council has an exciting opportunity to join our Capital and Technical Teams within the Property and Assets section of Housing Services, based at Allan Water House, Stirling.
Our team members work collaboratively to provide a successful investment, maintenance, and repair service for over 6,000 properties throughout the Stirling Council area.
The successful applicant will take a proactive role working within our Stock Condition Team. The information gathered by the team help proactively guide and develop our remedial and investment programmes.
The team also assess and provide information on the energy efficiency of our housing stock, as well as guidance and support on construction safety matters to various departments within Housing Services.
The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience of construction techniques and methodology. They must also be able to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities. The position requires the holder to have excellent customer care, communication skills along with experience of using mobile devices and working with database software packages. A good knowledge of various Microsoft packages is also required.
A driving licence is essential.
There may also be the opportunity to participate or support us in providing an out of hours/stand by service.
