An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Assistant Technical Officer based at University Hospital Ayr

What you will do:

This provides Cardiology services.

You will provide investigative diagnostic services to assess the functioning of the Cardiovascular system within the specialities of Cardiology, Respiratory and Vascular Physiology.

You will provide a 12 Lead ECG service, Spirometry, 24 Hour Ambulatory ECG, Blood pressure patient set up/removal and resting Doppler measurements.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Working within a caring environment, ECG and spirometry experience would be desirable, a basic understanding of an ECG is essential. 

You must have knowledge and experience within Clinical Physiology. Patient contact and knowledge of the hospital patient management system are essential.
