Full Job Description

  • Coordinate resolution and restore normal service operation during technology Incidents and Major Incidents.

  • Manage the communication with senior leadership, in the event of a Major Incidents.

  • Provide leadership and expertise to assist with the determination of root cause and solution of incidents.

  • Identify and prioritise potential issues across Aladdin software and infrastructure.

  • Investigate causes of incidents and problems.

  • Build and publish reports using Power BI.

  • Drive process and tooling change across the organisation to support regulatory change - eg DORA (Digital Operational resilience Act).


  • The role is predominantly Monday - Friday but may require occasional weekend work for pre-planned improvements or operational shifts. The team is also open to requests for alternative shift patterns which align to our Platform support model. We are happy to discuss this further and answer any questions you may have.

  • A career break of at least 24 months (no upper limit). During your career break you may have been working small-scale around other commitments or have not done any paid work.

  • Prior experience in Investment Management or Financial Services

  • You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for the program., Experience working in the Technology or Financial services industries.

  • A problem Solving mindset.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS, etc. and understanding of different service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Further training and guidance will be provided.

  • Knowledge in programming languages such as Python to automate common tasks and a basic knowledge of IT Configuration Management, Deployment & Orchestration tools like Ansible.

  • Data analysis skills e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI.
