Full Job Description

We are newly recruiting for an Associate to join our Financial Services Litigation team in Glasgow. This role is offered on a flexible working basis and would best suit a qualified Solicitor between 1-3 year's PQE looking for a new career opportunity with clear routes for progression. Your Role As a key addition to our growing team in Scotland, you can expect to be involved with:

  • Varied work spanning financial services with clients including clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders
  • Working closely with our Partners in Glasgow in our close-knit and supportive team
  • Collaborating with FSDI colleagues across our other office locations
  • Participating in business development, nurturing new and existing client relationships

    A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with experience in a financial or commercial litigation team
  • A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
  • Commercial awareness with enthusiasm for business development and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest legal developments
  • Ability to understand your client's business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture
