Full Job Description

Associate Medical Director for South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership

NHS Lanarkshire - Almada Street, Hamilton

The University Health and Social Care Partnership (UHSCP) is responsible for providing high quality health and social care services to South Lanarkshires communities.

We are now seeking to appoint an Associate Medical Director to support the Medical Director in providing clinical leadership within the partnership and develop Primary Care across Lanarkshire.

As a GMC-registered practitioner, with extensive experience in Community and Primary Care, you will use your outstanding leadership skills to guide the medical professionals under your remit, looking for ways in which we can continue to work collaboratively with key stakeholders. You will use your experience of medical management in the NHS to support an environment of continuous improvement and transformational change.

This post will be offered on the Consultant salary scale (£96,963-£128,841 per annum pro rata). The hours for the post will be up to 24 hours per week. In addition, the post attracts a management fee of £20,644 pa.
