Reporting to the Resource Officer you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient support service to the Home Support Service. Supervising the work of the Assistant Attendance Officer and two Attendance Support Assistants you will work as a team to ensure employee absence is managed in line with policy and procedure, supporting managers in terms of required actions and keeping to timescales. You will provide assistance by scheduling and conducting attendance review meetings, attending absence management meetings or return to work interviews and you will analyse and interpret current staffing information to identify absence trends. With this information you will identify problem areas and make recommendations on appropriate solutions, ensuring continuous improvement. 

With an HNC or SVQ3 in Business Management, Administration or equivalent, you will have experience in a supervisory post and excellent organisational, analytical and interrogative skills. You will understand the challenges Home Support Service managers face and the importance of supporting attendance.   

Temporary funding for 12 months.
