Are you an experienced auditor/accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Join our dynamic and forward-thinking independent accountancy practice in the heart of Glasgow as an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager or Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills, manage a diverse portfolio of clients, and support a thriving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits from planning through to completion for a variety of clients, including SMEs and charities
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality audit delivery
- Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored audit solutions
- Review audit files, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with partners and managers to provide insights that drive client success
- Review of Financial and Management Accounts
The Person:
- CA/ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Strong audit experience within practice, with proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple deadlines
