Azure Data Engineer

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Azure Data Engineer, a permanent role working for a consultancy with offices throughout the UK, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and London.

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer, to support a variety of clients in the design, development, and implementation of data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to architect and implement efficient, scalable data pipelines and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Build, automate, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data flow.
• Implement Azure SQL and SQL Data Warehouse for optimal data storage and processing.
• Work with Azure DevOps to automate infrastructure deployment, including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data solutions are aligned with business requirements.
• Optimize and troubleshoot data processing systems for performance, security, and scalability.

Technology wise candidates should have the following skill set: Microsoft Azure, Azure Fabric, Data Bricks, PowerBi, Red Shift and AWS Glue, Terraform, GitHub.
