Full Job Description

Hospital and Community Settings across Tayside

      • Band 5 Bank Occupational Therapist
      • Salary Scale : £31,892 to £39,735 per annum

We have an opportunity available to join our AHP staff bank for HCPC registered occupational therapists. Applications are also welcomed from OT students in the final stages of their undergraduate studies and expecting to graduate early 2025. Support and mentorship will be provided to help you develop into the role of a newly qualified occupational therapist. We pride ourselves in our track record of developing graduates to reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.

The aim of the service is to supply on demand, appropriately skilled staff, to cover shortages within the service.

Within the Staff Bank system, there are no guarantees of a fixed amount of hours each week as this is a demand led service. Bank workers are asked to submit their availability in advance and shifts are then booked on an as and when required basis.

All staff registered by the Staff Bank Service may be offered shifts in a variety of hospitals/settings within NHS Tayside, depending on the clinical areas/departments needs, due to winter pressures, staff absence, sickness or any unplanned increase in workload.
