BD & Bids / Proposals Coordinator

We are excited to be working in partnership with a highly successful and established client located near Dunfermline who are looking to recruit a dedicated Business Development & Proposals Coordinator.

Within this role you will be involved with working on bid proposals for a variety of projects, fostering relationships with new and existing clients whilst playing a key role in supporting business growth.

You will work alongside the BD Director and Estimating Departments and focus on identifying short to medium term tender and construction projects, coordinate PQQ submissions and assist the department in the production of high quality tender submissions and presentations.

This role does offer hybrid working and when in the office, you will be based near Dunfermline. Your role will involve travel to sites, B2B meetings and interviews, whilst also attending events.

Role Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with all current and prospective customers
• Develop a proactive sector strategy for targeting key companies and individuals in line with business plans
• Actively contacting their current client base to identify new tender opportunities
• Review weekly reporting and sites to highlights any projects of interest
• Ensure full compliance is adhered to
• Deliver core services on project bids
• Input to monthly reporting
• Meet deadlines for bid return dates
• Assist in any additional tasks as required
• Attend tender launch meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions on how to submit a successful tender
• Completion of the pre-qualification process successfully
• Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes
• Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from estimating, planning, construction management, commercial, contract and delivery team
• Utilising Proposal automation software, so experience using would be advantageous

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Strong time management / prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable working alongside other departments and teams
• Show flexibility and willingness to help others at all times
• High level of initiative, common sense with a positive attitude
• Reliable with a self-discipline, committed and driven

Reward:

• This opportunity is full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
