Full Job Description

  • Producing audience-targeted copy in-line with marketing briefs across our brands for a range of channels including email, internet banking, direct mail, social and digital display.

  • Applying the relevant tone of voice to branded communications and maintaining creative excellence in everything we produce.

  • Taking ownership of the copy aspect of creative projects from start to finish.

  • Thinking conceptually to solve communications problems.

  • Working with designers and artworkers to bring simple, tactical direct response communication ideas to life.

  • Ensuring direct response best practice and brand guidelines are adhered to.

  • Working across a number of product areas and campaigns delivering high quality copy.

  • Writing copy that embodies the principles of Consumer Duty. Simple, empathetic communication that is clear, accessible and inclusive.

  • Presenting creative work to our communications teams.

    At least 2 years' experience in a copywriting role.

  • A genuine passion and all-round love for the written word!

  • A desire to learn and hone your craft.

  • Foundational understanding of financial services copy and understand what is required to write copy in a highly regulated environment.

  • The ability to work as a team with other copywriters and designers.

  • An attention to detail that upholds our high copy standards.

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, accurately estimating time and able to work to those timescales.

  • As comfortable with a short headline as you are writing for longer copy formats.

  • Ability to identify challenges and work collaboratively to resolve them

    Beehive, our in-house creative agency sits within Brands Marketing and Experience, which is part of the Consumer Relationship division.
