Escape Recruitment is currently looking for Warehouse & Forklift Operative for our Client based in East Kilbride with the immediate start.

We are looking for a positive and friendly warehouse operative with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Good English and teamwork will be required to fulfil timebound requests and work well with other departments in the business to deliver the very best customer experience. An eye for detail and able for heavy lifting with pick and pack operation will be important.

You will be required to operate a forklift so any experience will be preferable - especially pivot steer. If no forklift experience we will train the right candidate.

Main purpose of job:

Safety first: recognising that the warehouse environment is our highest risk area for Health & Safety and everyone has obligation to keep themselves and others safe. To contribute energetically with a 'can do' attitude to the warehouse functions of receiving goods, physical management of stock and pick, pack and despatch of Customer orders in a way that is efficient and accurate. Respect cleanliness requirements and have a solutions focussed attitude of continual improvement.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 30min lunch break - finish on Friday at 3pm if all work complete

Pay Rate: 12.50 per hour

Renumeration:

Will depend on experience. Standard 28 days of holiday (including company closed days) and pension included. Lunch included Mon-Thur.
