Full Job Description

Are you experienced with Bids and looking for a role where you can really make an impact? We're looking for a Bid Executive to join our Consulting Team at Sopra Steria Next! You will work with teams from Sopra Steria Next, suppliers and sub-contractors on multiple projects and bids, across a range of clients and customers in both the public and private sector. The majority of the bids you will be working on will be human-centred consultancy projects from Discovery to Live. This will be a hybrid role, with some travel to our offices when required. What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver bids, confidently, to multiple clients and external audiences, working to deadlines.
  • Develop bid plans in liaison with the sales lead and solution owner and manage them through to conclusion.
  • Develop bid budgets and be responsible for leading to the budget.
  • Write and edit/review customer proposal documents.
  • Elevate our proposal content and increase our win rate.
  • Contribute to our win strategy.
  • Work with technology, business process, commercial and legal experts and provide sales process advice & guidance when required.

  • Demonstrable Bid Management experience, working across all stages of the entire bid process with a successful record of accomplishment, winning bids in a competitive market.
  • Passionate about writing exceptional bids.
  • Highly competent in use of MS Office tools.
  • Demonstrate a sales orientation with an understanding of bid management best practice.
  • Comfortable working independently and as a part of a team.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Have a focus on solving customer problems and creating outcomes.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Location: UK Flexible. Internal Recruiter: Katie. Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
