Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our key client in Glasgow to recruit a detail-orientated and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

This role will entail being responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining the overall financial health of the organisation.

This role requires proficiency in various accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, as well as a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.

Duties

• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
• Reconciling bank statements and ensuring any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
• Liaising with external auditors during annual audits to provide necessary documentation.
• Using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other relevant tools to manage financial data effectively.
• Monitoring cash flow and assist in managing the organisation's financial resources.
