Are you interested in theatre and the arts? Do you like working in a fast paced and creative environment?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our small but busy advance bookings team based at Airdrie Town Hall. Responsible to the Operations Manager, you will assist in the efficient operation of the Advance Booking Office of the Performing Arts Venues team in North Lanarkshire. The team looks after ticket sales, community arts class sales and lettings of our four venues – Airdrie Town Hall, Bellshill Cultural Centre, Colzium House and Cumbernauld Theatre.
In this role you will be part of the team carrying out the ticket sales, community arts class sales and halls letting operation using our state of the art box office system and bookings diary.
You will carry out sales via telephone, face to face at our ticket counters and help to manage our online ticket selling platform.
Behind the scenes you will be involved in cash and card payment reconciliation, lettings applications and assist with the setting up of arts classes and events on our ticketing system.
With event deadlines occurring regularly, you will be confident in your approach, create a great rapport with our customers and able to respond to each task as they occur.
