Full Job Description

Support to the day-to-day management of roads operations across the Alliance by undertaking a wide range of General and Special inspections on the respective Council's bridge stock and other private structures associated with the road network. Undertaking construction compliance and technical support activities in respect of bridge, bridge strengthening, replacement and new road and bridge improvement works in order to achieve the Joint Committee's key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council's Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

This is a permanent full time post with an admin base of The Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.

Hours of work are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.

The full time salary of this post is between £35,181 - £38,602 per annum.

The workstyle for this post is: Mobile - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.

It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
