GP Strategies Scotland has been delivering Apprenticeships across the whole of Scotland for over 20 years. With an achievement rate of 90% we pride ourselves on delivering quality programmes to our Apprentices and enabling them to achieve their goals.

About the role

As one of Scotland's leading programme providers across a range of Apprenticeship Qualifications including IT, Digital Applications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Customer Service, Management and Children and Young People.

We are looking for a dynamic, organised, and flexible individual to take on the role as Business and Administration Assessor to expand our team of experienced Assessors.

Although this is a Hybrid role, duties will be mainly carried out remotely with occasional attendance at our office in Stirling.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Assess learners within the workplace against the recognised SQA standards for Business Administration SCQF 5 and effectively manage your own learner caseload - working with learners and employers across Scotland

Mentor and support learners with the development of their skills and technical competencies

Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure KPIs are met.

Monitor learners' progress throughout their apprenticeship, overcoming any challenges so they achieve their qualification in a timely manner.

Previous experience delivering Business and Administration or Customer Service SVQ would be beneficial but not essential as support will be given.

Recognised Assessor award would be a distinct advantage, although not essential as support will be provided.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications

Highly organised with a good approach to managing day to day administration responsibilities.

Effective time management due to high volume caseloads

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience of working within a target driven environment and to tight deadlines.

With more than 4000 employees in over 30 countries, diversity at GP Strategies is second nature! Beyond our locations, our culture focuses on performance and revolves around respect, fairness, and working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
