Our profit-for-purpose model allows us to scale nature-based solutions, including woodland creation, peatland restoration, and developing innovative biodiversity projects. The Role We're looking for a proactive, self-starting Business Development Associate to drive growth and build meaningful relationships with UK and international businesses in this full-time role. Your role will be crucial in helping organisations integrate biodiversity, habitat restoration, and carbon products into their sustainability strategies. You will take ownership of the sales process, from identifying prospects and understanding their sustainability goals, to delivering bespoke solutions that align with their ESG, carbon mitigation, and biodiversity strategies. You'll report to the Partnerships Manager and play a vital role in scaling our operations and contributing to a healthier planet. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including corporate sponsorships for land restoration and carbon units.
  • Generate leads, attract new customers, and grow our client base by engaging businesses in the environmental sector.
  • Analyse target sectors to pinpoint development opportunities for the Partnerships team.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including raising invoices, managing sales pipelines in CRM (e.g. Pipedrive), and tracking project inventory.

You'll need to be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative remote-working environment., Sales Savvy: Confidence and experience in navigating the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

  • UK based: We are a remote first company, however any applicants must be based in the UK (not necessarily Scotland), with the ability to travel to our sites and to events.

    Salary between £22k and £30k, depending on experience.
