Job Title: Business Development Manager/ Sales Executive (Saas)
Salary: Circa 50,000 depending on experience
Benefit: Pension, Company Bonus Scheme and Private Healthcare
Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief Growth Officer
Reed are working on a retained basis with a VRS company specialising in BSL online interpreting services, empowering Deaf individuals to connect with businesses seamlessly. This business is thriving in B2C and are now expanding into B2B markets to make communication inclusive for organisations across various industries. Role Overview:
Reed are looking for an ambitious and proactive professional to lead our clients B2B business development strategy. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing partnerships with organisations that value accessibility and inclusivity. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while building the foundation of our clients B2B operations, with the potential to grow into a leadership position as the business expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive B2B business growth.
- Identify and secure partnerships with organisations across various industries, integrating the business' VRS services.
- Negotiate contracts: Initiating proposals, managing discussions, and closing deals to secure long-term partnerships.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to establish long-term collaborations.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns and materials tailored for B2B audiences.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and strategic recommendations to the Chief Growth Officer.
About You:
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of the B2B sales cycle and corporate decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in bidding and tender writing
Preferred but not required:
- Knowledge or experience with Deaf culture and British Sign Language (BSL).
- Sales strategy development and execution.
- Contract negotiation: Drafting proposals, navigating discussions, and closing agreements.
- Market analysis and trend identification.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Adaptability and openness to learning about Deaf culture and accessibility solutions.
- Bidding and tender writing skills.
