FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Business Development Manager based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis. 

Working closely with senior management within our client’s Subsea division, this newly created role will focus on driving growth in new and existing markets, delivering on medium and long term objectives. 

Competitive base salary available, along with car allowance, annual bonus, enhanced pension, private healthcare, life insurance and a 9-day fortnight working pattern. 

Main duties include: 

• Identify and develop targeted opportunities in line with company objectives, building relationships with new prospects through client visits, delivering presentations, attending events, etc

• Maintain relationships with existing clients, continuing to deliver on requirements and expectations

• Support tendering and proposal activities through securing RFQ/ITT and advising on strategies

• Identify any potential gaps in capabilities or regional coverage, along with any opportunities for mergers or acquisitions to strengthen market positioning

Suitable candidates should have the following: 

• Demonstrable experience in the Subsea industry

• Established network of decision-makers across the sector in which to build upon

• Strong communication skills and business acumen, comfortable with building relationships with senior-level prospects

• Ability to understand technical details of products and convey related benefit and value propositions

• Proven track record in contract negotiations

• Excellent work ethic, with an organised approach and ability to multi-task

• Comfortable with national and international travel as required
