Full Job Description
The Operations Manager will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining the necessary infrastructure to enable the BD, Marketing and Communications functions to focus on enhancing our brand and growing client relationships. The Operations Manager will drive collaboration and cooperation among global and regional teams to centralise and improve the infrastructure and resources needed to perform their roles, with a strong emphasis on increasing automation and AI solutions. They will need to integrate themselves within the department to fully understand the current operating model and work with subject matter experts to adopt automation and AI solutions, evolving the existing infrastructure to achieve the desired outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in optimising processes and experience with workflow and automation platforms.,
- Centralise, maintain and optimise the data sources required for ensuring that all content and materials are accurate and reflect the most up to date messaging in:
- Pitches
- Marketing materials and assets
- Legal directories
- Presentations
- Sales support tools
- Review, optimise and maintain guidance documents for globally adopted processes, such as:
- High volume, process driven marketing, BD and comms delivery tasks
- Legal directories
- Pitching
- Improve data capture/maintaining data sets to support the above processes as well as for return on investment analysis.
- Collaborate with various subject matter experts within the team to coordinate the training resources needed for successful onboarding of new team members.
- Identify and develop automation solutions across the department for high volume, process driven tasks.
- Identify where regionally managed tools and resources can be managed centrally, developing and implementing the processes and change programme required.
- Optimise processes across a variety of tools and platforms.
- Process mapping for activities that are identified to be resourced through different models.
- Liaison with other business services departments in order to collaborate on work flows where data sits across departments. Special projects
- Work with the global teams to establish best practice for centralising the storage of marketing materials and manage the process for updating core materials when there are key developments such as new office openings, partner promotion rounds, new partner joiners etc.
- Automated workflows to support the process of collating legal directory submissions.

- Experience of utilising workflow management tools to develop and implementing automated workflows.
- Strong technology-driven approach to streamline and simplify tasks and workflows efficiently.
- Prior experience of managing project teams from different disciplines and locations and uniting to achieve a common goal.
- An eager eye for metric measurement and monitoring.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and takes responsibility for identifying needs of the business, works around problems to produce solutions and has an optimistic in approach.
- Proactive in maintaining internal networks and understanding the business context and environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within organizations.
- Highly analytical and data-driven with an ability to track, interrogate and report on performance metrics and results.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English.
- Knowledge of how BD and marketing teams operate in professional services environments required.
The Business Development team drives activities which generate revenue, working closely with our Client Excos to grow client relationships and enhance market positioning for the firm in its chosen global practices and markets. This is delivered through an integrated communications, marketing, and business and client development function.
