Hourly Rate: £12.75 - £13.43

Salary: £23,280.40 - £24,521.40 pro rata per annum

Hours: 20


Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.

Recruitment Profile

Based at Heriot PS, this is an opportunity to join the Galashiels Cluster Schools Business Support team. The duties include:
• Providing efficient and effective clerical support to staff and pupils
• Ensure a high level of accuracy while updating and maintaining a variety of school/pupil records
• Assist with financial record keeping
• Liaise with pupils, staff members, parents, other schools and external agencies

Essential

Good standard of education with a minimum of 3 Standard Grades or equivalent (General level 3 or above) including English and Mathematics, or substantial relevant experience
