Hourly Rate: £12.75 - £13.43

Salary: £23,280.40 - £24,521.40 pro rata per annum

Hours: 12

Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.

Role Purpose

As part of the Business Support team you will provide a wide range of clerical support and will be required to deal with children, staff and members of the public on a variety of matters.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Early Years Centre Manager in providing efficient and effective clerical support .
Reception duties, first point of contact for parents.
• Share responsibility for production of a wide range of documents, using word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets and databases
• Ensure a high level of accuracy while updating and maintaining a variety of records
• Share responsibility for a wide range of office duties including reception and ordering/paying for goods and services
• Assist with cash handling, banking and associated record keeping
• Provide support associated with the organization of meetings and Centre events
• Liaise with staff members, parents, other settings and external agencies
• Maintain a high level of service whilst undertaking general office duties such as photocopying or filing
• Any other duties required by senior members of staff

Essential

Good standard of education with a minimum of 3 Standard Grades or equivalent (General level 3 or above) including English and Mathematics, or substantial relevant experience
