Full Job Description

We are passionate about energy sustainability and supporting the energy transition with digital technologies. We are also passionate about supporting our existing business streams to be as agile as they can be, always looking to improve efficiency via digitization. We aim to deliver the tools to enable both.,

  • Partner with business sponsors, subject matter experts, and software development teams to build and enhance business process and reporting software.
  • Work with product management and business stakeholder analysis teams to develop technology solutions to business needs.
  • Elicit, shape and document software development requirements while maintaining a strong functional knowledge of applications.
  • Respond to user requests for training and problem solving on existing systems.
  • Act as the liaison between business staff and technical staff communicating issues, defects, and enhancements to the development teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation of new project processes and deliverables including requirements, testing documentation and issues logs.
  • Roll out new system enhancements to system users meeting training needs.
  • Manage small software developments through lifecycle to production release.

    Proven experience as business analyst working on customer-facing business applications that are both data heavy and customer-focused.
  • Strong analytical skills with core competency in problem solving and self-starter who can suggest technology improvements.
  • Creativity to view a problem from many angles and drive towards an excellent solution.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughly understanding the entirety of problems and solutions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in a MS Windows environment (i.e. Word & Excel).
  • Strong experience with project management methodologies and have managed small projects through the development lifecycle to production release.
  • Previous energy or sustainability industry knowledge would represent an advantage., Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
