Are you an expert in service delivery and 3rd party/ vendor management with a background in Commercial Insurance? If you've worked with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver results, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. We're seeking a Business Transformation Manager to join our Commercial Direct team on a 12 month basis. AXA Commercial Direct is implementing a series of transformational changes to our customer proposition that will deliver our strategic business plans. These will be delivered through a combination of customer journey, process, people, organisation and technology change that will come to embody the new digital operating model. Delivery will be structured into releases formed of a number of SCRUMS and focusing on delivering customer proposition across Direct & Partnerships for the AXA Commercial Direct Business. You'll be aligned to the business and assist IT (AXA and Vendor) delivery & support teams and wider stakeholders, ensuring that new journeys, services, products, and processes are implemented, adopted, and stabilised with minimal impact to end users. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. What you'll be doing:

  • Assess the potential impact of proposed changes on the business, including processes, systems, people & culture.
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, develop and implement readiness plans for business change initiatives, including communication, training, and transition plans.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to recognise their needs and concerns and ensure their readiness for change.
  • Coordinating business change activity to ensure deadlines and key milestones are met in line with strategic objectives and in accordance with relevant governance.
  • Monitoring and measuring the progress and impact of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and obstacles that may impede the success of transformation initiatives.
  • Holding teams to project plans and reporting on project performance.

  • Strong experience of service delivery and 3rd party / vendor management working with multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver desired results.
  • Understanding of the commercial insurance market including product and underwriting experience.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on planning, organising, prioritising, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business goals.
  • Proven experience in project management, business readiness and agile change management roles within a large organisation, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong insight of business processes, service delivery, systems, and organizational structure.
  • Experience in leading and facilitating workshops and training sessions.
  • Demonstrable experience of defining all requirements in order to deploy a service / tool into a live / business as usual environment.
  • Preferably certified in lean /six sigma, ITIL.

    This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
