Full Job Description

  • Undertake purchasing activities for allocated purchasing commodities.

  • Liaise and communicate with internal and external agencies for requirement specifications, lead times, RFQs, approvals, and deliveries.

  • Ensure all purchase requisitions and orders are processed in accordance with company's approval authority and procedures.

  • Liaise and coordinate with vendors and other parties for pricing, delivery and invoice deficiencies and achieve corrective actions.

  • Manage vendors performance activities for vendors attached to allocated purchasing commodities.

  • Assist and guide team members and other people in the company to achieve compliance for purchasing activities.

  • Stand-in for other team members duties when requested.

  • Undertake necessary expediting activities, and update and maintain correct and latest information in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) system.

  • HSEQ Responsibilities
  • It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with, and follows the Company's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management System and takes an active part in the compliance and improvement of the Management Systems.

  • The incumbent must report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems according to the Management System processes/procedures.

  • The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health, safety and/or environmental legislation to follow these.

  • The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.

    Qualifications & Experience Previous experience of purchasing activities and vendors management

  • Good knowledge of basic purchasing techniques

  • Experience and understanding of ERP systems

  • College degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to act proactively and prioritise work with limited supervision

  • Good IT skills in MS Excel, Word and Power Point
