What You'll Do:

As a Buyer, you will be a key part of the Supply Chain Management team, supporting both onshore and offshore operations as well as live tenders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing competitive bids from suppliers for materials, services, and rentals that meet specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Negotiating and securing favourable contract terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
  • Developing strong relationships with suppliers, including site visits to evaluate their capabilities.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote best practices and manage risks effectively.

What We're Looking For:

  • Procurement experience or relevant commercial experience in buying, sourcing, or negotiating.
  • Relevant experience coming from an energy sector background.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft 365. Experience with SAP or SAP Ariba is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively at all levels.
