Camas Maintenance Worker

Under the guidance of the Islands Estate Manager, the Camas Maintenance Worker’s role is to undertake general maintenance work on the facilities and equipment at the Camas Centre and occasionally on Iona.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the Camas facilities and equipment are maintained to a safe and high standard, while observing Camas’ environmental and ethical policies. Facilities include the Camas buildings, grounds and track.Coordinating and supervising visitors and volunteers in routine maintenance work.Liaising with and working alongside outside contractors where necessary.Supporting maintenance projects on Iona where required., None specified

The Iona Prayer Circle is a worldwide network which prays for people and places in distress. Coracle is the bi-monthly magazine of the Iona Community, which seeks the exchange of thoughts and ideas as a basis for finding common ground.
