Work pattern:

Full-time (34.5 hours per week)


We are looking for an experienced individual to fill an exciting role within our Property Services Team.


We require a Care & Repair Handyperson to provide a high-quality Installation, Repair and Maintenance service for Tele-care equipment on behalf of the Highland Tele-care Service to facilitate hospital discharges. Additionally, to provide a Handyperson service in compliance with a Service Level Agreement between Highland Council and the Association – designed to assist the elderly, infirm or disabled by undertaking everyday tasks which may prove difficult for them to accomplish. The post holder, will also, assist the frontline services of NHS Highland, Social Work and other partners with the transportation, installation, and cleaning of medical equipment.


The successful applicant should hold Recognised qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience and have high level of competence in joinery and general maintenance work and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications Excel, Word and Outlook. The successful applicant will be required to hold a Full Driving Licence.


A Basic Disclosure Scotland Scheme check is required for this post.
