Full Job Description
Lead the business development activities for the Cambridge Programme within India. Ensuring the effective delivery of targets for adoption, test entries, resource purchases and revenue target., To be responsible for achieving targets for adoption, test entries, resource purchases and revenue targets. · Strategy Development Responsible for developing and implementing go-to-market strategy in the region, in close collaboration with Regional Director South Asia, Cambridge International and Managing Director, CUP India · Strategy Implementation Developing and implementing an ambitious school acquisition strategy for Cambridge International qualifications. Customer Relationship Management Responsible for developing, nurturing and maintaining excellent relationships with Cambridge Schools, Describe what sort of decisions the job holder makes without reference to their manager.
- To implement the Go to Market Strategy for Cambridge International qualification, in line with the Regional Strategies.
- To implement a course of action in the case of competitor threat
- Management of the sales team and planning of sales activity within the region
- Customer segmentation Describe what sort of recommendations the job holder makes to their manager and others.
- Which strategic partners Cambridge should work with within the region? This could include the type of relationship, contract, fees and recommended approach
- Changes to the normal distribution network for certain/new products
- Development of the distribution network
- Working with the marketing for lead generation and conversion Establishing a new offer from Cambridge in India and managing Cambridge's reputation and profile Ensuring the customer experience is seamless while offering Cambridge Qualifications. Managing a matrix of staff to deliver on sales, marketing and training targets and objectives Maintaining strong growth in a market which is mature and where competition is increasing Identifying and developing new opportunities to grow the overall market as well as increase market share Ensuring the use of accurate sales data in decision making Additional Duties Perform any other duties that may be reasonably expected of you by your immediate Manager.
Relevant post-graduate qualification (eg. MBA, marketing, business administration). Knowledge of educational systems and assessment in India especially Early Years. Hand on experience in the Education industry Negotiating contracts, Building relationships & Familiar with CRM systems. SKILLS Excellent communication skills in both English and relevant national and regional languages Proven leadership and teambuilding skills Excellent negotiation skills Proven sales ability The ability to use and interpret data as a basis for sound decision-making.
