Full Job Description

An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a Caretaker/Cleaner in support of Kelly Court Sheltered Housing Complex, Stirling.

The successful candidate will deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the sheltered housing community on a 15hrs per week, 52 weeks per year basis. 3 hours daily Monday to Friday Hours of work are flexible on agreement with the client, 3 hours daily Monday to Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 3.

Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone and at times to work outdoors in inclement weather.

Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.

  • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service
