Full Job Description

An exciting employment opportunity has arisen at Facilities Management, Stirling Council for a Caretaker/Cleaner in support of Kippen primary school. The successful candidate will deliver a caretaking and cleaning service, including key-holding in support of the School on a 16 hrs per week 39 week per year permanent contract. Hours of work will be a split shift time 7am till 8am then 3.30pm - 5.15pm paid at Stirling Council Grade 3. Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided where necessary. Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, cleaning surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone and at times to work outdoors in inclement weather. A requirement to work overtime to cover Lets at Kippen Primary School may at times be required. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
