Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistant

As one of our Casual Hospitality & Catering Assistants your duties will be varied to include setting up the dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, working in the kitchen assisting with food preparation and serving food to our visitors. Our centre is always busy, so we need casual team members that are happy to help wherever required. As part of this role, you could also be asked to help our housekeeping operations, with tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Where you'll be based The Field Studies Council Millport centre is situated on the Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland. It has state of the art purpose-built conference facilities, twin bedroom ensuite accommodation with sea views, plus 7 teaching spaces comprising classrooms and laboratories. We host learners of all ages and backgrounds from nursery schools, primary and secondary schools, universities, adults and research placements from all over the world. We have been awarded the Soil Association's Food for Life Served Here Bronze Award which recognises organisations which go the extra mile to make sure visitors are receiving healthy, nutritious, and sustainable meals.

• You'll be paid circa £11.44 - 12.14 per hour worked.
