Full Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment.  Previous experience in a catering environment is preferred, but full training will be provided. 

You must have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own using your own initiative. Be able to follow policies, procedures and instructions. You must have good communication skills and  be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations, and cope under pressure.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 26.875 average hour per week, on a 2-week Rota:

Week 1 Monday, Tuesday1015 - 1830, Saturday Sunday 1030-1830 30.5hrs

Week 2 Wednesday to Friday 1015 -1830 23.25hrs
