Catering Assistant - Hamilton Academy

The role will involve cleaning and washing up, along with serving meals and supporting pupils in the dining hall.

Meals are prepared off-site in the morning and delivered to the school ready for serving, so there is only minor food preparation involved in the role.

Previous experience working in a food preparation/service role would be an advantage, but not essential.

We are looking for someone who is positive, polite, understands the importance of good hygiene, and will enjoy working in a school environment with young pupils.

The successful candidate will also need to be physically fit as there is bending and lifting involved in the role.
