Position:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a permanent Catering Assistants based at University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.

What you will do:

You will work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, delivery, service, wash-up cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to Patients, Staff, Visitors and for functions.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Experience in large scale catering, preferably within NHS would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential

Desirable for current Food Hygiene Certificate, or essential to complete with the first 3 months of employment. Desirable previous experience of working within a large scale catering environment would be an advantage, full training will be given.

Hours:

13.6 hours per week.

Hours of duty - Monday to Friday 1130-1530/no break. 

Saturday & Sunday 1130-1515/no break.

Working pattern 7 days on/7 days off.
