What is the role?

Undertake, under the general direction of the Catering Supervisor the preparation, simple cooking and serving of food.

Extra Information:

The Grade of these posts are Grade 1 / Level 2; the hourly rate is from £12.59 to £12.70.

Post A - 16 hours - Newton Primary School - The annual salary, adjusted for a term time working pattern, is from: £9,502 to £9,931.

Post B - 20 hours - Forehill Primary School - The annual salary, adjusted for a term time working pattern, is from: £11,878 to £12,414.

These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
