Your Aramark journey starts here Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef in their Education sector to join our team at Hutchesons' Grammar, Glasgow, G41 4NW You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food, deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed. What we offer: This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only. You will be working
37 weeks out of the year - a rarity when you work within culinary! The hourly rate is £14.00. A day in the life of a Chef: You will be preparing both hot and cold food, alongside deli grab & go items (sandwiches, wraps, salads and
fruit pots) You will be serving on the hot counter at breakfast and lunchtime, keeping track of any dishes running low and carrying out Food Safety at all times. Placing orders and performing stock takes, alongside assisting with storing deliveries and deep cleans of the unit on a daily/weekly basis. You will be operating tills and taking payments, whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will also be upselling sizes and products. Organising and coordinating hospitality You will also be required to work on a scheduled Saturday for school sports day, serving light refreshments. You'll be set up for success if you have: Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks Relevant cookery/culinary qualification Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial Knowledge of financial
