Post Title:              Chief Finance and Resources Officer, East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership

Grade/Salary:        NHS:  Agenda for Change Grade D, Salary: £94,345 £98,384 per annum (pro rata for part time)

                                East Dunbartonshire Council: Grade 14, Salary: £79,091 - £86,445 per annum (pro rata for part time)

                                (Pay awards for 2024-25 to be applied)                    

Tenure:                  Permanent Full Time NHS: 37 hours/Council: 35 hours

About Us

As part of the shared commitment between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and East Dunbartonshire Council, the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of community health, social work and social care services for older people, adults, children and families and people in the Criminal Justice System in the East Dunbartonshire Council area utilising funding from the Council and Health Board.

About the Role

We are now looking to appoint a Chief Finance and Resources Officer who will provide dynamic leadership to the HSCPs finance portfolio and, as part of the HSCP senior team, deliver to a wide range of strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will possess personal and professional credibility and an aptitude for strategic thinking alongside a proven operational knowledge and understanding of health and social care services. Reporting to and working closely with the HSCPs Chief Officer you will also provide high level expertise to the Integration Joint Board for the financial administration and governance of an integrated budget of over £252M.

As a CCAB qualified senior finance professional, your experience will demonstrate a significant track record of financial management within a large, complex, service-led organisation. You will come with proven strategic leadership skills with the drive and resilience to inspire and motivate to achieve the best from integration.

Established and proven negotiating skills and the ability to operate and influence in a politically sensitive environment are further requisites for the successful candidate.
