Post Title:           Chief Officer, East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership

Grade/Salary:     NHS: Executive and Senior Manager Grade E Salary: £91,926 - £118,361 per annum (pro rata for part time)

                           East Dunbartonshire Council: Grade 17 Salary: £105,990 - £115,662 per annum (pro rata for part time) 

Tenure:               Permanent Full Time NHS: 37.5 hours/Council: 35 hours 

Location:             Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre

About Us

The Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of community health, social work and social care services for older people, adults, children and families and people in the Criminal Justice System in the East Dunbartonshire Council area utilising funding from the Council and Health Board.

We are justifiably proud of East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) whose reputation for excellence is well known and longstanding. The HSCP is a full partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and East Dunbartonshire Council.

As a member of both the Council's and Health Boards senior leadership teams, the post holder will be accountable to the Integration Joint Board and will report to both Chief Executives.

Our vision for integration is to deliver better outcomes for the people of East Dunbartonshire through services that are planned and delivered seamlessly from the perspective of the patient, service user and carer.

Through the governance of the Integration Joint Board and working with partners locally, you will ensure the effective delivery of East Dunbartonshires HSCP Strategic Plan and its key objectives.

About the Role

This is a role which demands exceptional leadership skills and abilities that will have been gained in an organisation with a strong focus on delivering high standards to patients, service users or customers.

You will be an accomplished and credible leader, naturally engaging who is able to inspire and motivate staff to work in new and collaborative ways to achieve the best from integration.

With a demonstrable track record of success in the management of health and/or social care, you will have the ability to develop a strong, people-focused culture which encourages initiative, individual and team responsibility and open communication and be comfortable working in a complex and challenging environment.

To ensure the HSCP continues to deliver Health & Social Care integration you will evidence a successful track record of driving large scale organisational and cultural change programmes along with significant financial management and risk management experience preferably within a public service body.
