Full Job Description

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people aged 4 to 18 with complex and profound additional support needs? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

As a Childcare Practitioner (ASN), you'll work one-on-one with amazing children and young people, planning and creating a variety of fun and engaging play and social activities tailored to their unique needs and interests.

Activity Planning: Create fun and engaging activities that brighten each child's day.

Comprehensive Care: Provide essential support, including moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration.

Provide Nutritious Snacks: Support the safe consumption of healthy snacks that cater to dietary and nutritional needs.

Memorable Experiences: Develop a program of social activities tailored to each child's individual needs and preferences. Use a variety of communication methods to engage and include the young people in a range of activities and experiences.

Has experience of working with children and young people within a play, care or learning setting.

Is willing to work towards the SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or already holds a suitable qualification.
