Children & Young Peoples Bladder & Bowel Specialist Nurse

An opportunity has arisen for a Children & Young Peoples Bladder & Bowel Specialist. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the leadership of the Tayside team but be primarily responsible for operational line management, development and support service

The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and professional knowledge commensurate with this role. This includes having an understanding of caseload management and experience of leading and managing a team of staff. The Ability to appropriately delegate work to team members and supervise staff is vital. The post holder will be familiar with audit for improvement and staff and service development. The post holder will be a key member of the leadership team and is required to work collaboratively and effectively with peers and senior management across the Children & Young Peoples Service in Tayside providing cover (either clinical or managerial) where needed during periods of leave and workload pressures.

The post will be based in Tayside Children's Hospital, Ninewells Hospital Dundee but ability to travel/work across Tayside and the surrounding area is essential.

You must be a registered as Children's Nurse on the UK NMC Register.
