CHLH / 2406 / 09 Sessional Family Learning Tutor

1. Deliver Mathmagicians family numeracy activities in local libraries, considering
needs and abilities, including the necessary pre-planning and reporting.

2. Instruct and guide learners in accordance with good practice in area of delivery.

3. Ensure learners are made welcome to their activity, enjoy their activity, and have
opportunity to seek individual advice and guidance concerning their ongoing
learning plan.

4. Identify opportunities for learners to progress in their learning and, working
closely with the area Coordinator, support continued engagement in learning.

5. Provide guidance and support and encourage learner progression.

6. Maintain registers, records and statistics of activities in line with established
procedures.

7. Contribute to quality assurance systems through reporting and evaluation.
