As a Claim Review Team Leader, you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable, the primary accountability of this role is to lead the day-to-day requirements of the HCRS Document Search Team.

The role is required to ensure competency within the team searching for documents which will inform shortfall analysis. Experience in route to competency and maintaining competency is key while knowledge of the Post Office operation, the Horizon system, and systems used by both the postmasters and back office is key.

With a substantial media focus and public interest in the Remediation Unit, the Team Leader will have a high level of integrity and resilience. They will provide information, for onward sharing with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT). The dimension of the role includes leading a geographically dispersed team to deliver stretching targets/priorities and to ensure reports are factual and presented to a high standard.

The role will be hybrid working, mainly working from home but with a requirement to travel as and when needed. You will be responsible for ensuring that the document search function of the claims review process is completed to a high standard and that targets are met. Identifying, collating, and providing insight into the relevant Post Office documents for stakeholders. Responding to requests for information, timely and professionally from DBAT, legal personnel and other stakeholders and leading a team including QA and delivering to a high standard, targets agreed with DBT., Our commitment to embracing diversity extends beyond just words. Proven Team Lead, able to deal with multiple workstreams simultaneously and effectively leading a team of geographically diverse personnel.
- Accountable for own and business decisions and awareness of both the wider social and commercial environment in which Post Office operates.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels confidently & professionally.
- Demonstrate outstanding relationship management techniques, humility, and empathy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Ability to undertake quality assurance activity on document search data.
- Ability to recognise non-conformance to policy, process, and procedures.
- Able to challenge constructively and confidently.
- Good all-round IT skills (Microsoft Office) and a high level of excel skills.
-Advanced working knowledge of audit & compliance procedures in addition to training, interventions, and evaluation techniques
- Flexible in approach to deal with individual situations effectively
- Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritise workload as appropriate to manage competing demands, targets, and deadlines.
- Understanding of Data/Information Security requirements
- High levels of professionalism and integrity
