Class 1 Tramper, Bulk

Location: Aberdeen
Shift: 5 out of 7, Monday - Friday

About the Role

As a Class 1 Tramper, you will:

• Deliver and collect bulk work to include scrap metals using a curtain sided or flatbed trailer, which will include a great deal of load security using ratchet straps.
• Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
• Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
• Plan route on a day to day basis.
• Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.
• Attend regular training sessions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to have regular nights away from home.
• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• ADR licence is preferred but not essential.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
