Class 2 Day Driver

The position of Class 2 Day Driver involves :

• Making multi drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.


• Loading / unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.


• Planning route on a day to day basis.


• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations.


• Attending regular training sessions.
  
  Essential skills required for Class 2 Day Driver :


• Must hold a UK Class 2 C Driving Licence.


• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.


• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.


• Working to deadlines.


• Confident, polite and a team player.


• Good geographical knowledge.


• Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
  
  Salary for Class 2 Day Driver between £36,pa - £43,pa, AND MORE! depending on hours worked.


• Two shifts available : Monday Friday, from 07 : 00hrs to circa 17 : 00hrs. Tuesday Saturday, from 07 : 00hrs to circa 17 : 00hrs.
