Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver - Fresh Produce Delivery
Location: Glasgow
Start Date: ASAP (No later than 2nd November)
Duration: 4-6 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: 14.65 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver in Glasgow to deliver fresh produce to business clients. This role requires an immediate start, with employment set to begin by 2nd November. The initial contract is for 4-6 weeks, with the potential for extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver fresh produce to businesses across Glasgow and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and safe transportation
• Adhere to assigned routes and delivery schedules to meet deadlines
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork
• Provide friendly, professional service to clients

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 HGV license, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as a Class 2 HGV driver 1 year minimum
• Good knowledge of the Glasgow area
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the contract
