Full Job Description
- Home delivery of kitchens (physically demanding role)
- Working efficiently as a 2-man crew, Loading and unloading of the vehicle
- Ensure Van Delivery Porters proactively make customer phone calls with ETA's and record deliveries
- Adhering to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your Transport Office team, Hold a valid Cat C license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Hold an up-to-date Driver CPC Qualification
- Hold an up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card Desired:
- Experienced in 'Home Delivery' service
- Good geographical knowledge Applicants for this role who are offered employment will be subject to a basic criminal record check from the Disclosure & Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. However, a criminal record will not necessarily disqualify a candidate. Each case will be assessed individually, taking into account the nature of the offence and its relevance to the role applied for. In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
